The present that is today.

So for a while now, I’m serving NS and I’ve recently been posted to be a Station Security Officer(SSO) and it’s kinda draining on me. Having to work 12 hour shifts and graveyard shifts is really tiring. So that’s really my life now. Waking up at 5am to prepare for day shifts and trying to get some sleep during the day so that night shifts are more bearable. I wish that I could have had an easier job, but you can’t always get what you want.

In this few days that I’ve been at station, I’ve been telling God to take over, more and more each day. During the nights, when I’m at the vehicle checkpoint all by myself, I’ve been worshiping Him. Singing to Him. And His presence fills me. It’s almost instantly that His presence surrounds me. It comforts me, and there’s nothing I could want more than to be in His presence.
